BRATISLAVA

MAJESTIC MUSIC , SLOVAKIA

After the long but beautiful drive on regional roads from Bucharest we finally arrived to Bratislava. On the day off we drove by "Dracula camp" in Transilvania across the 2nd highest mountain pass Balea Lac in Roamnia, we took some photos on the top at 2100m. First thing we did when we arrived to Zlin was park the camper in front the venue and ran for some KFC in city centre. it was a nice warm day and after some sightseing we returned to Masters of Rock club. Unfortunatelly we had no backstage or showers in the venue.

The drive to Krakow passed quickly eventhough it was no highways again. The venue is located in student's area and reminds of a venue we played in our home town many times.

WARSAW

STODOLA, POLAND

Stodola is one of the nicest clubs in Warsaw. We played Warsaw few times before, but never in such big place. Our backstage was very nice and the catering was delicious. Since we are on the road for almost one month now these small things matter. The stage was perfect and since the ticket presale was almost 1200, there were about 1500+ people present on the day.

PRAGUE

FACTORY MEET, CZECH

750 km of regional roads from Warsaw to Prague took us about 12 hours of slow back-breaking drive. Meet Factory is a squad like place that reminds us of Ljubljana's Metelkova (but in a better condition) with unfortunatelly the smallest stage we played on this tour. We arrived very late and rushed for sound check before dinner.

MATHIAS GOT DEAL WITH TAMA/BAM GUITAR CENTER

Right before the european tour with In Flames, Mathias Gergeta got an endorsement deal with TAMA / BAM guitar center. He's been using TAMA drums time since day one of his drumming career and it became the part of his sound and style. For recording of the latest Noctiferia album "Death Culture" and european tour supporting In Flames Mathias used TAMA Starclassic Maple drum kid! Currently he's also using the same drum series for pre-production and writing process of a new Noctiferia album, which will be out in 2012!

Bucharest, what a pleasent suprise! It was open air show at Arnele Romane stadium. Majestic, coloseum-like place which shows all of it's beauty at night. We had sound check at 5 pm and it was hot as hell, nothing like the first day of october.

The second time in Sofia for us. First time we opened for mighty Venom and Mayhem in the same venue and since we are not strangers to Bolgarian metalheads we had pretty high expectations for this show. And we were right!

After the night in home beds we had to leave again. It was time for Italy. W had big expectations for this show, because we get lots of fan letters from Italy. Especially after the release of Death Culture our reputation in Italy grew. Now all we had to do is to prove it live.

BUDAPEST

CLUB 202, HUNGARY

Welcome to Eastern Europe! You will notice it by the roads. So far the ride was pleasant but once you cross the eastern borders you notice a difference. Bad roads that threw sleeping Gianni and Ana out of the bunk and up into the wall in first minutes of arrival to Hungary. The show was not the best one but we enjoyed it anyway.

We had a day off and went to Salzburg, parked infront of Rockhouse club and went to the city. Salzburg was celebrating their small version of Octoberfest and many locals wear traditional Joedl uniforms. People said it is tradition that forbidds to wear modern clothing. City and people are decorated in Barock style and everything there is about Mozart. We checked his birth house. We left for Wienna in the morning.

When we arrived to Zurich and parked in front of the venue we knew we will have a killer show. The venue is just perfect, run as a family business they offer you a 2 floor venue with huge backstage with its own open air terasse balcony. The place is huge and you can easily get lost.

The drive was long, we still had sand from the Barcelona sea in our hair when after 300 km the temperature dropped to 8 degrees. After the hot temperaments in Spain and Portugal we didn't know what to expect from Swiss fans.

BARCELONA

RAZZMATAZZ, SPAIN

For Barcelona we had big expectations as we got great response from local metalheds after the release of Death Culture. We have played this multicultural city years ago and it was cool, but this time it was just awesome. When we arrived and loaded the equipment to the venue it started to rain. This was the first rain in a week on the road and we liked that the heat in the air cooled down. It rained a big time and in a moment the roof of Razzmatazz got broken and it started to shower directly into the venue in front of the stage.

It took us something like 400 km to the next show and next party. The venue is in a shopping center and you would not believe how cool it looks. From one side of the buildig you go upstairs and enter the concert venue, from the other side you step in a big shopping centre and see shops, restaurants and famous Jazz Blue Note club.

Sois de puta madre! We have good times in Spain. We met lots of Noctiferia fans. Also in Madrid. The fans were waiting in front of the venue early in the morning we got many good compliments on Death culture and people could not wait to see us live.

NOCTIFERIA SIGNS WITH ART WORX MERCHANDISING

Last week Noctiferia signed an exclusive contract with German merchandise label Artworx. Artworx is responsible for merchandise of bands like: In Flames, Sonata Arctica, Arch Enemy, Nevermore...Artworx will publish three new designs. Otherwise, Noctiferia signed a contract for eight different designs of shirts, which will be published next year. Artworx will be responsible for merchandise inventory of Noctiferia on tour and online store, and Europe-wide distribution Noctiferia's products. T-shirts will be available on the In Flames tour, through the Master of Metal for Slovenia and on the official webstore of the Artworx merchandising!

NOCTIFERIA HOLYMEN VIDEO FINALLY RELEASED

Just before the tour the band launched a video for the song Holymen. This is the second video single from latest album Death Culture. The video is directed, filmed and assembled by Noctiferia's Igor Nardin during the making of Death Culture.

Material itself was not originally intended for publication, but only as a video diary of the studio. Since 2009, when the video was edited, it's been hiding in the archives, until i had recently took it out of a Naphthalene. "

NOCTIFERIA TO SUPPORT IN FLAMES IN EUROPE !!

Dark death advanced metal kings NOCTIFERIA are celebrating this massive European tour with our friends IN FLAMES accross Europe !. This is the first time such a big tour happens in the life of a Slovenian band. The band 's latest labum 'death culture' has received a roaring response from medias worldwide !

Since 1994, from the beginning of the Ljubljana underground NOCTIFERIA has been spreading its unique style of the Slovenian Extreme Metal Movement.

The founding members, Igor Nardin (guitars) and Uroš Lipovec (bass), started recording demos and soon they recorded their debut album in 1997 "Baptism At Savica Fall" for the promotion of which they shared stages with Enslaved, Cannibal Corpse, Absu, Rotting Christ, Deicide, Dark Funeral, Marduk… In 2002, after the more extreme second studio album "Per Aspera", the Slovenian heroes embarked on their first European Tours with Marduk, Kataklysm and Immolation. NOCTIFERIA started, then, working on its third album "Slovenska Morbida". The album was promoted with several tours with Hypocrisy, Cradle of Filth and Pain, and appearances at the Metalcamp's main stage, the band has also opened for In Flames and performed a south-Eastern European tour with Samael and Keep of Kalessin.

In beginning of 2009 NOCTIFERIA entered the studio to record its fourth album. The result, mixed by Peter Tagtgren and Jonas Kjellgren is the masterpiece of NOCTIFERIA : "Death Culture".

This is technical extreme death black, This is NOCTIFERIA, bringing something fresh, a style that is uniquely theirs. The cooperation Noctiferia / Peter Tagtgren / Jonas Kjellgren turned out as the best combination and its result- "Death Culture" speaks for itself
